As an independent author, I understand how difficult it can be to get a simple review for your work. With that in mind, I have decided to offer reviews of independent/self-published works on this website. In addition to posting the reviews here, I will also post a review on Goodreads, Amazon, and Facebook. These are honest reviews. I will write what I truly feel, good or bad. I will try to keep my reviews as positive as possible, but in order to do so, I will need to be a little selective on what I read. I won't read something that I feel I won't like. It's not fair to the authors out there that may have a terrific book, but isn't in a genre that I prefer, or isn't a type of story that I like to read.

With that in mind, here are the genres/ types of stories I will read:

• Science Fiction

• A little fantasy

• Surreal fiction

• Fiction dripping with absurdity

• If it has magical elements akin to Gabriel Garcia Marquez

• Fun poetry

• Serious poetry that isn't entirely in free form

• Graphic novels with deep subject matter

• Short story collections

• Literary fiction

• Suspense/Thrillers/Mystery

• Survival stories

• Historical fiction 

• Nonfiction that deals with interesting subject matter 

• Other things that I can't think of right now, but you are more than welcome to send me an email to see if I would be interested

Some things that I will not read:

• Motivational/Religious

• Teen Fiction

• Romance/Erotica

• If it has glittery vampires, I probably won't read it.
